Ambulatório de Diagnóstico Estomatológico do Sudoeste Goiano (ADESGO)

Objectives:

a) To enable the continuing education amognst dental surgeons who work in the public health system concerning stomatological diagnosis;
b) To promote knowledge within lay audiences regarding stomatological diseases;
c) To disseminate the technique of oral self-examination;
d) To provide educational, preventive and curative dental care;
e) To supply multidisciplinary care consisting of diagnostic investigation (both medical and dental), physiotherapeutic treatment and psychological counseling to patients undergoing treatment;
f) To referral patients for proper specialized treatment, oncological or not;
g) To build and maintain a statistical information system;
h) To serve as a source of research for several future clinical applications.
