Histopathological Diagnosis Center

The purpose of CEDHIPA is to conduct laboratorial diagnosis by cytological, histopathological and immunohistochemical analysis of oral diseases and systemic diseases with oral manifestations in patients treated at ADESGO and other contributing municipalities.
In addition, due to its own academic connection, it must provide, through the availability of its collection, information and materials that are intensively used in undergraduate and graduate education, as well as in scientific research. Thus, promoting constant feedback between direct application, teaching, critical analysis and knowledge generation related to its area, in order to contribute to local social transformation.

This center will perform cytopathological, histopathological and immunochemical analyzes of lesions in the oral cavity and maxillomandibular complex, as well as other sites that require dermatological, autoimmune, infectious or neoplastic approaches
